Of all strains of kratom, Thai is one of the most unique, and has by far the most diehard following.
After talking to many Thai kratom lovers, we boiled down their favorite effects.
…and they are
energy, productivity, focus, and endurance, all of which can be tremendously helpful in the modern world.
Thai kratom is the most energetic effects of all kratom strains, but it also has less of the pain-relieving potential of many other kratom strains (with the exception of Red Vein Thai). It is these energetic qualities that make Thai kratom highly effective for focus and endurance.
Thai Kratom Effects
There are a few varieties of Thai kratom, distinguishable by the vein color, which tend to have slightly different effects.
Red vein Thai tends to be the most popular, as it blends the best of both worlds, whereas white vein, and especially green vein are less common.
RVT is truly the best of both worlds when it comes to pain relief, energy and mood. In many respects it’s similar to a Maeng Da strain, but in reality feels cleaner than Maeng da and the effects feel less overpowering.
Red Thai Effects
It’s the powerful effects and the “clean” and natural energy that makes red vein Thai is one of my absolute favorite kratom strains.
GVT is very similar to RVT, but trades some of the pain relieving effects for more energy.
Green Thai Effects
Where GVT truly shines is when doing some form of mentally or physically difficult task. It provides tons of energy and a level of endurance you just can’t get from coffee.
White vein Thai is, of all kratom strains, the most stimulating, and for that reason will always have a dedicated following.
White Thai Effects
If you’re looking for energy and energy alone, nothing beats a white vein thai. This is a strain that can very easily replace your morning coffee, and all without any jitters.
Below is a quick overlook of how Thai kratom’s effects, and how they can be useful to you.
Energetic and stimulating qualities are the hallmark of any Thai strain. These effects tend to be much longer lasting than traditional stimulants, such as caffeine.
Due to the interplay of energetic and pain relief properties, these energetic effects tend to be experienced as much smoother and less erratic.
Unlike caffeine, Thai has less side effects such as sweating, and discomfort, and this energetic effect may also contribute to why Thai has been used as a kratom strain for weight loss.
Because of Thai’s energetic and pain-relieving alkaloids, Thai (especially red vein) has very positive effects on mood.
These effects can fend off fatigue, mental tiredness, and can be a rejuvenating influence in the middle of difficult work or general stress.
Unlike many other strains, this one is best used early in the day, as some experience difficulty sleeping if it is taken too late, and this stimulation is one of the reasons this variety isn’t commonly used in enhanced leaf (UEI) variety kratom extracts.
Although there has been little research, myself and many others have found that these strains can help with focus and clarity of thought. Many suspect this focus comes from the interplay between the plant’s energetic and pain-relieving alkaloids
While this variety overall isn’t the best strain for pain relief, varieties such as red vein Thai can occasionally provide strong pain relief along with energetic effects. So for those with mild pain, and don’t want to sacrifice energy levels, this is a great choice.
As mentioned, the side effects of Thai kratom are much less likely than many other strains, such as Bali kratom strains. and for this reason, there is a bit more leniency in dosages.
For typical dosages of Thai kratom:
By exceeding over 8 grams, however, some side effects may occur. So, it is a good idea to start low and find your own “sweet spot”.
Thai kratom can be a huge asset in many areas if it is used correctly, because of this, I suggest everyone have a bit in case the situation warrants it.
